With the fall portion of the 2021-22 collegiate tennis season behind us, we wanted to take a moment and recognize several of our national champions. During the course of the fall, these individuals were recognized for their accomplishments back on their respective campuses.
Eryn Cayetano, the No. 1-ranked singles player and winner of the 2021 ITA National Fall Championships singles title, was recognized at a recent USC basketball game. Sarah Hamner of South Carolina, the 2021 ITA Women’s All-American Championships singles champion, hit the field during a South Carolina home football game.
North Carolina’s Fiona Crawley and Elizabeth Crawley (pictured at the top of the story), were honored at a recent UNC basketball game. The duo capped off a perfect 10-0 fall season by claiming the doubles title at the ITA National Fall Championships.
Wake Forest’s team of Anna Brylin and Brooke Killingsworth, winners of the ITA Women’s All-American doubles title, end the fall as the nation’s No. 2-ranked team. Ohio State’s Matej Vocel and Robert Cash, winners of the 2021 ITA Men’s All-American Championships and 2021 ITA National Fall Championships doubles titles, are recognized during a Buckeye football game.
