Florida International University in Miami, FL is seeking an individual to serve in a graduate assistantship position as Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach.
Responsibilities: Assist the head coach with the management and oversight of all aspects of the Division I Women’s Tennis program including: practice/competition, skill development, recruiting, coordinating team travel, scheduling, and individual workouts. All responsibilities must be in compliance with NCAA, CUSA, and FIU university policies and procedures.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, minimum GPA of 3.0, and an extensive background in the sport of tennis. The selected candidate must have knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations.
This position includes nights and weekends hours. The candidate must have a valid US driving license.
Compensation includes a 9-month salary and tuition. The successful candidate must be fully admitted into the Florida International University graduate school.
