Brenau Opens AAC Play With 9-0 Win Over Columbia
CAYCE, SC – The #5 Brenau University tennis team opened Appalachian Athletic Conference play with a 9-0 win over Columbia College on Sunday.
Playing in cold weather conditions, the Golden Tigers did not allow a point in doubles play, then swept all six singles matches to claim the first conference victory of the season.
“Our team did a great job maintaining a solid level the entire afternoon, in both doubles and singles play,” said head coach Andre Ferreira. “I am very pleased and excited to get a conference win on the road.”
