Michigan University Women’s Tennis program is seeking one graduate
assistant coach. The successful candidate is required to meet the
admission standards for the EMU graduate admissions beginning no later
than September 2019. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting
head coach to conducting practices, fundraising, and other training,
team travel, administrative responsibilities, racquet stringing,
managing equipment and on-court coaching. This is a great position for

Those interested must possess a bachelor’s degree and have strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and have experience playing or coaching in tennis at the intercollegiate level. Candidates must be willing and able to work weekends, evenings and holidays as required. A valid driver’s license as well as a successful background check are also required. Candidates are required to adhere to the regulations and guidelines as established by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the MAC, Eastern Michigan University and the EMU Athletics Department.
Candidate will receive a scholarship to be used towards the completion of a master’s degree, and/or the equivalent compensation.
