The 2019 Saint Francis Health System ITA All-American Championships continued Saturday with semifinal action in the men’s and women’s draws at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa.

TULSA, Okla. (October 12) – The 2019 Saint Francis Health System ITA All-American Championships continued Saturday with semifinal action in the men’s and women’s draws at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa.

The tournament concludes Sunday with finals play in the singles and doubles draws and culminating with the men’s and women’s main draw singles finals in primetime. The women’s singles final begins at 6 p.m. followed by the men’s singles championship. Both matches will air live on ESPNU.

The men’s title match will feature No. 6 seed and Florida sophomore Sam Riffice (Florida) versus Texas senior and No. 3 seed Yuya Ito. Riffice advanced to the championship match by recording a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Texas A&M senior Val Vacherot (Texas A&M). Ito posted a 6-3-6-4 win over Stanford sophomore Alex Rotsaert.

On the women’s side, Pepperdine senior and No. 12 seed Ashley Lahey will seek her second ITA tournament title of the fall when faces No. 3 seed and North Carolina senior Alexa Graham in the finals. Lahey, who captured the Oracle ITA Masters last month, recorded a straight-set 6-3, 6-3 victory over Duke freshman Chloe Beck.

After dropping the first set and down 4-2 in the second, Graham rallied back to defeat Texas senior and No. 15 seed Anna Turati, 3-6, 7-5, 6-3.

The men’s doubles main draw final will pit Jack Lin and Jackie Tang (Columbia) versus Gabriel Decamps and Juan Pablo Mazzuchi (UCF). The duo of Lin and Tang defeated Duke’s Sean Sculley and Nick Stachowiak, 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (6). Decamps and Mazzuchi recorded a 6-3, 7-6 (0) win over Oklahoma State’s Dominik Kellovsky and Matej Vocel, 6-3, 7-6 (0).

The Women’s doubles main draw final will feature Yale’s Jessie Gong and Samantha Martinelli versus Tennessee’s Tenika McGiffin/Kaitlin Staines. Yale advanced to the finals after defeating the UCF duo of Marie Mattel and Rebeka Stolmar, 6-4, 2-6, 1-0 (6). Tennessee reached the championship match after recording a 6-2, 6-3 victory over the UCF pair of Ksenia Kuznetsova and Valeriya Zeleva.

Georgia’s Blake Croyder and Philip Henning will battle Florida’s Oliver Crawford and Sam Riffice in an All-SEC men’s doubles consolation final.

All doubles finals will begin at 10 a.m. (CT) on the University of Tulsa campus.

In the women’s doubles consolation final Saturday afternoon, North Carolina State’s Jeada Daniel and Adriana Reami defeated the UCLA duo of Elysia Bolton and Jada Hart, 8-2.

Notre Dame’s Richard Ciamarra will meet Ohio State’s Cannon Kingsley in the men’s singles consolation final. Ciamarra defeated UC Santa Barbara’s Joseph Guillin, 6-2, 6-3, and Kingsley topped Arizona’s Jonas Ziverts, 6-1, 6-3.
