TEMPE, AZ (February 6) – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) and Cracked Racquets are pleased to announce a plan to provide coverage for this year’s Division I National Women’s and Men’s Team Indoor Championships. This collaboration seeks to enhance the fan experience for the college tennis community around the world.

ITA Chief Executive Officer Timothy Russell said, “Our DI Team Indoor Championships feature the very best of college tennis, crowning national champions in events that began with our ITA Kickoff Weekend last month and culminates in Chicago, Il and Madison, Wisconsin showcasing the essence of our sport with fabulous dual matches. This is a very unique championship model for intercollegiate athletics, and as the ITA works to raise the profile of our sport, we are committed to exploring innovative ways to engage our current fans better and build a new and bigger fan base for our sport.”

In addition to the standard live-stream and post-match box scores, coverage will include features such as play-by-play commentary, on-site interviews with participating coaches and players, daily podcasts, on-camera challenges revealing how well teammates may or may not know one another, and much more!

“The opportunity for our team at Cracked Racquets to help showcase one of the college season’s premier events could not excite us more,” said Alex Gruskin, Editor-In-Chief of Cracked Racquets. “We continue to believe that as college tennis grows more accessible to the broader tennis community, fans of our game will increasingly flock to the sport.”
