
Coming off a ITA Division I Women’s National Team Indoor Championship, the University of North Carolina was voted as the new No. 1. The Tar Heels dethroned the Stanford Cardinal – now No. 3 – who had sat atop the rankings since the beginning of the season. National Indoors runner-up, UCLA, was named the new No. 2 team in the country.
The Seminoles moved into No. 4 after taking down the Texas Longhorns in the opening round of Indoors 4-3. After a strong showing at Indoors, Princeton moved from No. 17 to No. 9. The Georgia Bulldogs dropped in the rankings from No. 3 to No. 8 after going 1-2 over the Indoor Championship.
