The Intercollegiate Tennis Association and Sports Interiors announced today the renewal of their partnership and sponsorship, whereby the ITA officially endorses Sports Interiors as the Official Indoor Lighting and Ceiling Liner Provider of the ITA.
As part of the agreement, Sports Interiors will provide all ITA member programs the best available pricing on its LED tennis lighting and ceiling liner system.
“The quality in Sports Interiors’ work is undeniable, and they represent excellence within the indoor lighting space,” said Corey Pegram, ITA Director of Partnerships, Alumni & Membership.
“Their lighting projects completely transform the indoor playing experience. We look forward to continuing to see the enhancement of college tennis facilities around the country by working with the Sports Interiors team.”
“While recently in Chicago for the ITA’s DI Women’s National Team Indoors, I was able to see the astonishing lighting at both XS Tennis and the Combes Tennis Center at Northwestern University,” ITA CEO Tim Russell added. “The only description is Wow.”
Sports Interiors has completed lighting projects at Northwestern University, Oklahoma State University, Western Michigan University, the University of Illinois, Hope College, the University of Virginia, and will be working with Ohio State University to install their ceiling/wall liner and LED lighting at the new Ty Tucker Center. The next three NCAA Division I tournament sites – Oklahoma State, the USTA National Campus, and Illinois – each has indoor courts outfitted with the Sports Interiors LED lighting system and ceiling liner system.
“The Sports Interiors team is thrilled to continue our partnership with the ITA,” said Sports Interiors Partner Dan Van Dixhorn. “It’s exciting to be a part of college tennis and to help improve facilities on behalf of universities, players and coaches. The ITA has such a positive impact on college tennis and we are thrilled to be a small part of that.”
