Let’s focus on what coaches need to know now about how to effectively deal with what’s going on. This is not a ‘nice to know’ topic, it is a must know. How you help your student athletes at this time is life defining. Dealing with change at the best of times, is challenging for most people. As an old saying goes ‘People often don’t resist change, they resist being changed.’ Right now, we are all subjected to being changed from factors which are outside of our control.

In this Webinar, the goal is to share with you the most important models of change management that you as coaches need to know.

  • Understanding the emotions of change, the stages of change, and the concerns people have when confronted by change are what we will cover.
  • We will discuss how to apply this to your team and how to recognize where your student athletes are positioned within the models so you can best support them.
  • We will also focus on practical strategies you can take now to keep your team together, not to just survive but to thrive. Make the most of this time to emerge even stronger and prepared for the next opportunities to practice and compete again.
