The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) is proud to announce that it will continue its long tradition of presenting annual competitive playing awards. The ITA has one of the most comprehensive awards programs in the world of college athletics.
These awards include:
- Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship Award
- Rafael Osuna Sportsmanship Award (Division I Men)
- Cissie Leary Sportsmanship Award (Division I Women)
- Rookie of the Year
- Player to Watch
- Most Improved Senior
- Senior Player of the Year
- All-American
These awards will be announced by division, beginning with Division I. The award nomination timeline along with forms will be released soon.
The Division I Operating Committee, which is composed of 27 men’s and women’s coaches from all 12 Division I regions, decided to move forward with the All-American Awards as well as other competitive playing awards, which honor our student-athletes and celebrate their hard work and accomplishments.
The NAIA Operating Committee, which is composed of seven men’s and women’s NAIA coaches, decided to move forward with the All-American Awards as well as other competitive playing awards, which honor our student-athletes and celebrate their hard work and accomplishments.
The Junior College Operating Committee, which is composed of seven men’s and women’s NAIA coaches, decided to move forward with the All-American Awards as well as other competitive playing awards, which honor our student-athletes and celebrate their hard work and accomplishments.
The Division II Operating Committee, which is composed of 13 men’s and women’s Division II coaches, decided to move forward with the All-American Awards as well as other competitive playing awards, which honor our student-athletes and celebrate their hard work and accomplishments.
