The Intercollegiate Tennis Association and Tennis-Ticker announced a renewal of their partnership whereby Tennis-Ticker will continue to serve as the Preferred Live Scoring Provider of the ITA.
Tennis-Ticker will provide its point-by-point live scoring service at up to 10 ITA national-level events. The live scores are accessible to the public through Tennis-Ticker’s user-friendly mobile app and website, and in some cases may be integrated with ITA live streaming.
“In everything we do, the ITA tries to put a spotlight on college tennis student-athletes and programs,” Cory Brooks, ITA Director of Championships, said. “Having point-by-point scoring is an avenue to do this, as well as engage fans, parents, and alumni of college tennis. We are thrilled to continue working with the Tennis-Ticker team.”
Tennis-Ticker works with collegiate tennis programs, such as Portland, Wyoming and Middlebury, to provide live scoring, and has also been used at the Pac-12, Mountain West, Big East and Atlantic Sun conference tournaments, among others. All in all, Tennis-Ticker has provided live scoring at over 5,000 events since 2009.
With innovative and advanced on-court equipment, Tennis-Ticker has the ability to integrate its live scoring solution with on-site scoreboards and provide live streaming or match analysis tools such as live match statistics and post-match scorecards. The Tennis-Ticker team will assist tennis programs in leveraging grants when available to support the investment made in its technologies.
