The Junior Tennis Champions Center is seeking a Full-time HighPerformance Tennis Coach to join our world-class team.

About Our Company
The Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC) is a world-class training program, facility, and team of individuals offering opportunities for junior players from all backgrounds to reach their full potential on the court and in the classroom. We also offer a full-service tennis club for adults of all skill levels and juniors as young as three. At JTCC we believe that “Tennis is for Everybody.”

JTCC was founded in 1999 and was selected by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) as the first Regional Training Center for its high-performance program in 2008. Today, more than 500 students are enrolled in our junior development pathway, 150+ students are enrolled in the full-time and after-school year-round academy programs increasing to 1,000 players during the busy three-month summer camp season.

The Position
As an integral part of the tennis team, a Full-Time High-Performance Coach should do the following:
• Compete and hit with UTR 11+ for 4 hours per day
• Travel national wide and international when tournament play resumes
• Create player development plans and manage player development
• Provide appropriate feedback during point and match play
• Teach appropriate fundamentals, techniques, and skills
• Grow program participation
• Self-produce private and semi-private lessons
• Establish good communication with students and parents
• Actively promote JTCC High-Performance tennis programs and lessons
• Motivating students by providing encouragement and positive feedback
• Providing great experience by caring and connecting with student

Our Tennis Coaches
• Have experience in Junior Development
• Maintain at least one nationally recognized certification in tennis
• Demonstrate in an enthusiastic, pleasant, and energetic manner
• Enjoy talking about and promoting tennis
• Has the ability to deliver information clearly, concisely, and timely
• Must be able to work weekends

• Collegiate tennis playing or coaching experience preferred
• Kinesiology major preferred
• Tennis coaching: 2 years (Preferred)

COVID-19 considerations:
We consulted with an engineer to access and improve the airflow in our indoor facility. In addition to improving the airflow, we have installed a bipolar ionization filtration system to clean and remove air contaminants.
