The Carolina Tar Heels and Texas Longhorns maintained their top two spots in the Oracle ITA Rankings. Some notable moves within the top 10 teams are No. 3 Georgia (prev. 5) and No. 6 UCLA (prev. 3). Georgia added two wins to their record this week – a 6-1 win over Georgia Southern and a 4-0 win over Tennessee (prev. 19). While on the other hand, the Bruins added a loss to their record bringing it to 5-2 overall. On Saturday, UCLA dropped a close 4-3 in-conference match to California. Cal reaped the benefits of the win and jumped five spots to No. 12 — the largest jump in this week’s rankings.
Entering the rankings this week are No. 21 Auburn and No. 24 Arkansas. The SEC teams both notched two conference wins this week. Auburn knocked off South Carolina (prev. 20) and Florida (prev. 22) in succession. As a result, both teams fell out of the rankings.
