JTCC – Marketing/Sales Associate


Background and Position Overview

JTCC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides tennis programs for all ages and abilities in the Washington, DC region. JTCC is looking for a dynamic, energetic individual for marketing and program support. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, confident in partnership building, thrives in a fast-paced work environment, and has a passion for helping underserved youth. The position reports to the Director of Development. The Associate is responsible for contributing to the daily operations that shape JTCC’s vision of developing the best tennis instruction, community outreach, and club programming in the nation. 


Manage various marketing projects, including:

  • JTCC marketing and social media (70%)
    • Utilize Google Analytics and other digital tools for program and membership marketing. 
    • Provide strategic oversight and content generation for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Work with JTCC staff to create content and promote all aspects of JTCC including high performance and Community Outreach.
    • Facilitate communication and marketing strategy through email campaigns and other engagement efforts.
      • Support JTCC’s annual US Open fundraiser and work directly with donors and sponsors.
      • Manage the planning and execution of JTCC’s End Of Year fundraising campaign
      • Provide management support for JTCC’s annual Gala, 
      • Oversee marketing of JTCC partnerships with companies including Fila, Wilson, Tecnifibre, GEICO, and Sandy Spring Bank. 
    • Responsible for weekly website updates and oversight of web data analytics. 
    • Sales (30%)
      • Drive sales and revenue for all programming and membership 
      • Establish lead generation activities
      • Manage and operate CRM


  • 2+ years of related work experience 
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to vary style depending on the audience 
  • Digital marketing experience is desirable 
  • Ambitious with a committed work ethic 
  • Organization and attention to detail 
  • Outgoing personality, a “people person”
