The position assists and advises students regarding applications, registration, course selection, career development, graduation requirements, and transfer process and evaluations. Evaluates transcripts and performs degree and graduation audits. Advises current and prospective students on degrees offered by the College and provides general information regarding College policies and procedures.
Prefer applicants with the following:
(1) at least two years of coaching experience at the high school and/or college level
(2) knowledge of and adherence of NJCAA/FCSAA rules and regulations
(3) strong interpersonal skills
(4) commitment to student athlete development
(5) Demonstrate knowledge of specific sport.
This position is Grade 3 (Part-Time Advanced Technician) and will not exceed 29 working hours per week. The Assistant Coach will work with the Head coach of Women’s Tennis, will report to the Assistant Dean of Athletics/Athletic Director,
Sarah Summerfield and Dean of Student Services, Joe Bentrovato.
This position requires at least an awarded Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited educational institution. Applicants must attach a copy of their diploma or transcript, showing at least the minimum qualifications, at the time of application. In addition, applicants must attach a cover letter and resume at the time of application detailing their coaching experience. If selected for an interview, applicants must bring an original transcript to the interview showing the awarding of the required degree. If the transcript has not been updated to show the awarding of the required degree, applicants must bring written documentation from the educational institution showing when the degree was awarded.
