The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) is excited to announce that Florida State University will serve as the host site for the 2021 ITA National Summer Championships by Universal Tennis, August 6-10, 2021. The event will take place at the Scott Speicher Memorial Tennis Center located on the campus of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.

“After a successful four-year run in the state of Texas, we are thrilled to bring the ITA National Summer Championships by Universal Tennis to the southeast US and Florida State University,” Cory Brooks, ITA Senior Director said.  “Coach Dwayne Hultquist has a great history of running successful tennis tournaments and we can’t wait to partner with him on this ITA national championship event.”

The ITA will continue its tradition of providing a wild card into the main draw of the Men’s and Women’s All-American Championships for the singles and doubles champions and into the qualifying round for the singles and doubles finalists of the ITA National Summer Championships.  Only returning NCAA Division I players are eligible to receive these wild cards.

“We’re honored for the opportunity to showcase Florida State University and our facilities,” Florida State Head Men’s Tennis Coach, Dwayne Hultquist remarked. “I’ve always felt that hosting big events is not only good for your current players but also a great way to showcase the talented players around the country. We’re excited to be hosting this year!”

Registration is scheduled to open July 5, 2021, and run through July 26, 2021. All participants must be current ITA Player Members to compete in the National Summer Championships. To purchase an ITA Summer Playing Membership ($30), please click here.
