In his second year with Trinity, he moved to the top of the lineup and qualified for the ITA Cup after winning at Regionals. This season he led the Tigers the NCAA quarterfinals. He also won his first round in the NCAA Single tournament. Krimbill finished this season ranked No. 10 in singles in the nation.
