Bridgewater College, a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach, to begin immediately. This is a part-time position, reporting to the Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the head coach in all facets of a Division III tennis program
- Recruiting prospective student-athletes who fit the mission and culture of the program and the College
- Organizing & conducting on-court coaching during practices and games
- Assist with program marketing and branding on a multitude of platforms, including social media
- Providing mentoring and support for the student-athletes, particularly in regards Assistant Coach Mens & Womens Tennisto academics and player development
- Complying with all NCAA, conference and college policies and regulations.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Prior collegiate coaching experience and/or competitive collegiate playing experience required.
- Basic competency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the college’s auto insurance carrier
GENERAL INFORMATION: Bridgewater offers Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in more than 60 majors and minors, along with multiple areas of emphasis and concentrations, pre-professional programs such as medicine and law, dual degree programs and teacher certification. The college is a member of NCAA Division III and the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, with 22 intercollegiate athletic teams.
