The road to the 2021 ITA National Fall Championships begins in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with the 45th annual Milwaukee Tennis Classic taking place September 18-20 at the Milwaukee Country Club and Western Racquet Club.

An ITA Gold Level Event, the Milwaukee Tennis Classic features a 32-player singles draw, and a 16-team doubles draw. Men’s and women’s singles champions earn a wildcard entry into the 2021 ITA National Fall Championships, to be held November 4-7 at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, California.

All championship matches will be contested at the Western Racquet Club, which for the first two days of the MTC, will feature women’s singles and doubles competition. The Milwaukee Country Club will play host to men’s singles and doubles on Saturday and Sunday.

“The Milwaukee Tennis Classic is so pleased to proceed with the 45th edition of the tournament in conjunction with the Intercollegiate Tennis Association,” said MTC co-founder and president, Chas Mulcahy. “The players are excited to be back competing and we expect another great event.”

When the MTC was last contested in 2019, champions included University of Southern California’s Mor Bulis and Angela Kulikov in men’s and women’s singles, North Carolina State’s Tadas Babelis and Yannai Barkai in men’s doubles, and Oklahoma’s Oleksandra Korashvili and Jasmine Asghar in women’s doubles.
