Multi-year agreement recognizes Apeak as the Official Mental Training App of the ITA

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) and Apeak are pleased to announce a new alliance whereby Apeak will be recognized as the Official Mental Training App of the ITA.

Apeak Tennis is led by Dr. Jim Loehr, a world-renowned performance psychologist who helped 17 athletes become World Number One, including Novak Djokovic, Jim Courier, and Monica Seles.

“For a very long time I have been a big fan of Dr. Loehr. Not only has he worked for many years with world champions to reach and perform in the zone, but he has taught many of us that the only way to win is through leading with character,” said Dr. Timothy Russell, Chief Executive Officer of the ITA. “As our world becomes more and more driven by technology, I strongly encourage tennis players and coaches to take advantage of Dr. Loehr’s insights, wisdom, and guidance through Apeak.”

Apeak’ core mission is to make mental training effective and affordable. Even if players, coaches, and teams already work with a sport psychologist, Apeak Tennis will be a perfect supplement since sport psychologists cannot always offer guided mental training anytime and anywhere.

Having all the necessary mental training modules on players’ phones allows players to train on their own terms. With so many new features, players can learn from mistakes with AI training feedback, customize their training, learn how to build momentum, and gain a competitive advantage with pre-match visualization. Apeak has made it easy for players to improve their mental skills if they are willing to put effort and time towards their goals.

In aligning with the ITA, Apeak will work closely with ITA member teams to help develop the mental side of a player’s game. Apeak is offering its mental training app to ITA member programs at a discounted price of $59.49 for an annual subscription (retail $69.99) per player. In addition, users will receive a one-week free trial.

Apeak is also offering two (2) FREE individual accounts for every college team so that coaches and/or players can test the app. To redeem this offer, email [email protected].

What ITA Member Coaches Are Saying About Utilizing Apeak Tennis With Their Team:

“Our tennis programs at BYU, along with my own kids competing at a national level, have been using Apeak for over a year now. Strength does not come from winning, it comes from preparing to win, and I have seen positive results firsthand with this program. It teaches that toughness is in the mind, soul, and spirit, and Apeak is a perfect example of powerlifting for the mind and soul. I would highly recommend and strongly feel it is crucial for the success of any level tennis player aspiring to achieve greatness.”

-Holly Hasler, BYU Women’s Head coach

“We have used the Apeak app within our program here at Clemson University and were excited about the results. I am a believer in the technology, and the team is behind this innovative app, and we will be continuing to use the app with all of our players.”

-Robbie Weiss, Clemson University Men’s head coach

“I have seen several players’ performance improve firsthand after using the Apeak App. I would definitely recommend this program to any player wanting to get an edge over their next opponent.”

-Kevin O’Shea, Texas A&M Assistant coach
