In the final Team Rankings before many teams head into conference tournament play, the TCU Horned Frogs will once again earn the No. 1 ranking in the Division I Men’s ITA Collegiate Tennis National Team Rankings sponsored by Tennis-Point for Apr. 20.
Finishing the regular season as outright Big 12 Regular Season Champions, the Horned Frogs will now look to keep things rolling into the postseason when they host the Big 12 Tournament from April 21-24, at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
Tulsa (No. 37) sees a spike in their ranking as they move up 12 spots from the April 13 Team Rankings after taking down Middle Tennessee this past week.
In addition to Team Rankings, both Singles and Doubles Rankings were also released this week.
In singles, Kentucky’s Liam Draxl (No. 8) makes his debut in the Top Ten of the ITA Singles Rankings. The defending National Player of the Year has won his last three matches from the Wildcats No. 1 position against a tough SEC slate of opponents.
In Doubles, Ohio State’s Robert Cash and Matej Vocel remain the No. 1 ranked pair in the nation, while the USC pair of Stefan Dostanic and Bradley Frye (No. 5) enter the Top Five of the Rankings after wins over the No. 9 and No. 33 ranked pairs this past week.
