The ITA Tenis-Point Summer Circuit powered by Universal Tennis points race continues! The ITA will once again administer a points race covering the six weeks of play during this year’s circuit. Points will be allotted within flights 1 and 2 according to the breakdown listed below.
Percentages to be awarded:
- Flight 1 winner: 35%
- Flight 1 runner-up: 22.5%
- Flight 1 semi-finalist: 12.5% each
- Flight 1 consolation winner: 7.5%
- Flight 1 consolation runner-up: 2.5%
- Flight 2 winner: 5%
- Flight 2 runner-up: 2.5%
Points to be awarded (1000/event):
- Flight 1 winner: 350
- Flight 1 runner-up: 225
- Flight 1 semi-finalist: 125
- Flight 1 consolation winner: 75
- Flight 1 consolation runner-up: 25
- Flight 2 winner: 50
- Flight 2 runner-up: 25
The ITA will track points and post “points race standings” each week on the ITA website. After the circuit, the top 5 men and the top 5 women will receive automatic entry into the main draw of the ITA Tennis-Point National Summer Championships powered by Universal Tennis and a $500 travel reimbursement to be used towards the expense of attending.
The ITA Tennis-Point National Summer Championships powered by Universal Tennis takes place at the Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL, August 11-16, 2022. The singles and doubles winners receive a wild card into the main draw of the ITA All-American Championships. And the finalists will receive a wild card into the ITA All-American qualifying draw. However, the players receiving wild cards must be returning NCAA Division I student-athletes.
