For the sixth consecutive season, the Georgia Gwinnett College Women’s Tennis team has been crowned the NAIA Women’s National Champions. With the win, the Grizzlies cap off a perfect 17-0 season which marks their third consecutive unbeaten season.

Taking down Keiser 4-0 in the National Championship match, the Grizzlies concluded another dominant season in which they only dropped two points the entire season, while sweeping their final 15 matches.

After picking up a quick doubles victory, Georgia Gwinnett went on to secure straight-set victories from the No. 1, No. 2, and No. 4 positions en route to the win.

For Keiser, they end the season with an impressive 18-5 record and showed great fight throughout the entire NAIA National Tournament. With only one upperclassman on the roster, the Seahawks are poised to build on this finish in the seasons to come.

In addition to the team title, sophomore Iryna Lysykh was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player which is the second time in her career that she has received this honor.
