Singles Draw

After five days of competition, Connie Ma (Stanford) and Peyton Stearns (Texas) have both clinched their spot in the 2022 NCAA Division I Women’s Singles Championship.

Stearns, who was the tournament’s second seed, and Ma, who came into the tournament as an at-large bid, will meet for the second time this season as Ma came out on top 7-6, 2-6, 6-2 when the two schools played back in February.

Both will be making their first NCAA National Singles Championship appearance as Stearns is just a sophomore and Ma is just a freshman.
