Job Description: Will assist the head coach in the day-to-day operations including team travel/driving, daily practice sessions, on-court coaching, home event management and away event organization/meals. Fantastic way to gain experience in all facets of the program including administration and budget/schedule management; alumni and family stewardship; recruiting; compliance, The position will include the possibility of teaching private lessons at the MIT indoor/outdoor tennis facilities.
Requirements: Coaching and/or playing experience, preferably at the college or university level; a bachelor’s degree. Valid driver’s license required, as well as comfort and reliability driving team vans. COVID vaccines required to work at MIT.
Compensation: $10,000 plus the possibility of income from private lessons, stringing, and other opportunities as they come up.
