University of Nevada is accepting applications for one (1) Graduate Assistant (1 year/2 semesters) or LOA (10 months). The successful applicant must meet the admission requirements for the University of Nevada Graduate Program of their choosing and be prepared to begin working immediately. This individual will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in Men’s Tennis in all duties of the program. Duties include, but are not limited to, coaching, recruiting, organizing practices, strength/conditioning sessions, community relations, administrative duties, team travel, racquet stringing.
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree and should have good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and experience as an intercollegiate tennis player and/or coach. Must be willing to work evenings/weekends/holidays and travel with team as required. Valid driver’s license required.
Compensation:
All tuition, fees, books, insurance, as well as a monthly stipend. This is a one-year appointment.
