Welcome Back To College Tennis (FALL 2022)

As another collegiate season is upon us, get ready for all of the action coming up this fall as the ITA is set to host another full slate of events across all five divisions of play. Featuring the likes of the ITA Regional Small College Championships, ITA Division I Regional Championships, ITA Men’s All-American Championships, ITA Women’s All-American Championships, ITA Cup, and the ITA National Fall Championships, this fall season is set to be yet another one to remember so tune in to all of the action.

Below are all of the event dates and details for the 2022 ITA Fall events:


ITA Regional Small College Championships
  • September 15 – October 3, 2022

The ITA Regional Small College Championships feature some of the top men’s and women’s players from the NCAA Division II, II, NAIA, Junior, and Community Colleges from across the country. Thousands of student-athletes compete each year in over 60 regional events on the campuses of Colleges and Universities around the country. Winners of each Regional Small College Championship will earn a berth into the ITA Cup which will be held in Rome, Georgia later this fall.

ITA Division I Regional Championships
  • September 22 – October 24, 2022

The ITA Division I Regional Championships bring together all of the top players from each region to compete at over 30 regional host sites spread out across the country. A staple of the fall collegiate season, the Division I Regional Championships allow teams and players to test their skills against some of the top talent from their region before the spring season begins. In Division I, Regional Doubles Champions and Regional Singles Champions and Finalists qualify for the season-ending ITA National Fall Championships.

ITA Men’s All-American Championships
  • October 1 – October 9, 2022

As one of the ITA’s longest-running events, the ITA Men’s All-American Championships will prepare for its 43rd year of competition in 2022 when action returns to the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa. As the first National Championship on the ITA calendar for the fall, over 400 players from across the country will be given the opportunity to play across the Pre Qualifying, Qualifying, and Main Draws.

ITA Women’s All-American Championships
  • October 1 – October 9, 2022

For the first time ever in 2022, the ITA Women’s All-American Championships will be heading to Cary, North Carolina this year where many of the top women’s players from across the country will converge to compete for the first National Championship on the ITA calendar for the fall. Kicking off play in 1984, the ITA Women’s All-American Championships have featured the nation’s top NCAA Division I players and have been a pioneer in women’s college tennis over the years.

ITA Cup
  • October 13 – October 16, 2022

Formerly known as the Small College Nationals, the ITA Cup has a history dating back to 1986. It is the only singles and doubles national championship event for the Division II and NAIA levels. In 2021, more than 8,000 players participated in 60 regional tournaments to gain entry into the ITA Cup field.

ITA National Fall Championships
  • November 2 – November 6, 2022

The National Fall Championships are the grand finale to the fall collegiate tennis season and feature 64 of the nation’s top collegiate singles players (32 men and 32 women) and 64 doubles teams (32 men’s teams and 32 women’s teams). The event is in its fifth year, having replaced the ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships beginning in 2017, and in 2022 will return to the the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, California.
