TEMPE, AZ. – The ITA All-American Championships are back beginning this Saturday, as the best of Division I college tennis will be making their way to Tulsa, Oklahoma and Cary, North Carolina to compete for the first national championships of the Fall season.
The University of Tulsa is set to once again host the men’s competition at the Michael D. Case Center on The University of Tulsa’s campus as well as the Case Tennis Center in LaFortune Park. For the first time ever in 2022, the women’s competition is set to be hosted by North Carolina, NC State, and Duke at the Cary Tennis Park.
Pre-qualifying action is set to kick off on Saturday for both All-American Championships, while Qualifying play will run from Oct. 3-4, and Main Draw play from Oct. 5-9 at both sites.
In 2022, nine of the top-ten ranked women’s singles players in the ITA Collegiate Tennis National Preseason Rankings Sponsored by Tennis-Point will be competing in main draw action, with countless other nationally ranked players filling out the qualifying and pre-qualifying draws.
On the men’s side of play, nineteen of the top twenty-ranked players in the ITA Collegiate Tennis National Preseason Rankings are entered into the main draw of the Men’s All-American Singles Championship.

Women’s Singles Top Seeds
Sarah Hamner, South Carolina – As the reigning ITA Women’s All-American Singles Champion, South Carolina sophomore Sarah Hamner will be back in action this year in Cary as she will look to defend her title. As one of the top players in the country last season as a freshman, Hamner was ranked as high as No. 1 in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings in the 2021-22 season and enters the 2022-23 season as the No. 2 ranked singles player in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Preseason Rankings. Hamner was named the SEC Freshman of the Year and was an ITA Singles All-American for her outstanding play for the Gamecocks last season.
Daria Frayman, Princeton – Becoming the first Ivy League women’s tennis player to earn the No. 1 singles ranking in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings, Princeton senior, Daria Frayman, will look to continue her success in the 2022-23 season beginning at the All-American Championships. Finishing as the Runner-Up at the 2021 ITA National Fall Championship, Frayman would go on to earn Second Team All-Ivy League honors in the 2021-22 season, while also earning a berth into the NCAA Singles National Championship.
Layne Sleeth, Oklahoma – Ranked as high as No. 6 nationally last season and coming into the 2022-23 season as the No. 4 ranked singles player, Oklahoma’s Layne Sleeth will look to build on an impressive junior campaign as she looks to lead the Sooners back into the national spotlight this season. As an ITA Singles All-American last spring, Sleeth went an impressive 28-9 last season, including wins over the No. 1, 8, 9 and 13 ranked-singles players in the nation. Sleeth was named the Big 12 Newcomer of the year in 2022 and also earned First Team All-Big 12 honors in singles.
Chloe Beck, Duke – Coming back for her senior season in 2022 is Duke’s Chloe Beck, who will look to build on her junior season in which she was named an ITA All-American and First Team All-ACC. Playing primarily from the No. 2 position for the Blue Devils, Beck led the team in wins last season with 34, including an unbeaten mark of 18-0 in singles during the regular season. Beck earned a berth into the NCAA Singles National Championship this past spring and posted 13 ranked wins over the course of the season.
Cameron Morra, Duke – As a five-time ITA All-American, Cameron Morra will be suiting up in a new shade of blue this season as she joins the Duke team as a graduate transfer from North Carolina. Ranked No. 6 in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Preseason Rankings, Morra was an ITA Singles All-American in 2022 and earned berths into both the NCAA Singles and Doubles National Championships. Morra was a First Team All-ACC selection in 2022 and helped lead the Tar Heels to three ITA National Team Indoor Championships during her time at North Carolina.
Men’s Singles Top Seeds
Stefan Dostanic, USC – As the reigning Pac-12 Player of the Year, USC’s Stefan Dostanic enters the 2022-23 season as the No. 1 ranked singles player in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings. Earning ITA All-American honors in Singles, Dostanic went 39-6 overall in singles in 2021-22, including going 17-1 in dual matches from the Trojans No. 1 postion. Dostanic went 19-5 against ranked singles opponents last season and won 17 straight matches in the spring.
Cannon Kingsley, Ohio State – Ranked in the Top-16 of the ITA Singles Rankings throughout the 2021-22 season, Ohio State’s Cannon Kingsley is a two-time ITA All-American in Singles and is the back-to-back Big Ten Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Year. Across all competition last season, Kingsley went 22-7 in singles, including 12 of his 22 wins coming against ranked opponents. Went 3-1 in the NCAA Tournament for the Buckeyes and earned a berth into the NCAA Singles National Championship.
Iñaki Montes de la Torre, Virginia – Winning an NCAA National Championship with Virginia last season, the 2022 ACC Player of the Year, Iñaki Montes de la Torre is back with the Cavaliers this season looking to improve on his outstanding sophomore season. Named an ITA Singles All-American, Montes went 22-5 in singles on the season, including numerous wins over ranked opponents. Earning a spot into the NCAA Singles National Championship, Montes would advance all the way to the Quarterfinals before falling to 2021 NCAA National Champion, Sam Riffice (Florida).
Luc Fomba, TCU – One of only three players to crack the top ten of the 2022 ITA Collegiate Tennis National Preseason Rankings, TCU’s Luc Fomba will start this season as the No. 5 ranked singles player in the country. As a four time ITA All-American, Fomba finished the season with a 36-12 overall record, including a 19-8 record against ranked opponents. Fomba was named First Team All-Big 12, and earned a berth into the NCAA Singles National Championship.
Nikola Slavic, Ole Miss – Another ITA All-American in Singles, Nikola Slavic of Ole Miss is back for his senior season in 2022-23 where he’ll look to lead the Rebels from their top position. Earned a 22-13 overall record in singles last season, Slavic was voted All-SEC First Team and earned a berth into the NCAA Singles National Championship. Slavic led all Ole Miss players in singles victories as well as ranked victories with nine.
Women’s Doubles Top Seeds
Carmen Corley & Ivana Corley, Oklahoma – As the No. 1 ranked doubles team at last spring’s NCAA Doubles National Championship, Carmen Corley and Ivana Corley of Oklahoma will look for more of that sister success this year when they take on the 2022 ITA All-American Championships. Both named ITA Doubles All-Americans, the duo finished 2021-22 with an impressive 27-7 doubles record, including defeating the No. 1, 5, 6, 7 pairs in the nation.
Anna Brylin & Brooke Killingsworth, Wake Forest – Becoming the first Wake Forest pair to win the ITA Doubles All-American Championship in 2021, Anna Brylin and Brooke Killingsworth enter the 2022-23 season as the No. 3 ranked pair in the nation. Named ITA All-Americans in 2022, Killingsworth and Brylin produced a 12-5 overall record during the regular season this past spring, while taking down five ranked opponents in the process.
Karolina Berankova & Georgia Drummy, Duke – Combining for three ITA All-American honors over their careers, Duke’s Karolina Berankova and Georgia Drummy enter the fall as the No. 5 ranked team in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Doubles Rankings. The pairing finished the 2022 spring season as the No. 14 ranked doubles team and secured wins over two top-ten opponents in Emma Navarro/Hibah Shaikh (UVA) and Jaeda Daniel/Nell Miller (NC State) over the course of the season.
Men’s Doubles Top Seeds
Stefan Dostanic & Bradley Frye, USC – Named the 2022 Pac-12 Doubles Team of the Year, Stefan Dostanic and Bradley Frye of USC will be teaming up again in the 2022-23 season, earning the No. 2 ranking in the Preseason ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings. Finishing both as ITA All-Americans in Doubles, Dostanic and Frye went 16-6 overall from the No. 1 position, while going 6-1 in Pac-12 play as well.
Sander Jong & Lui Maxted, TCU – Closing out the 2021-22 season as the No. 11 ranked pair in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings, TCU’s Sander Jong and Lui Maxted will start the fall of 2022 as the No. 3 ranked doubles pair in the nation. The tandem compiled an 18-7 record en route to All-Big 12 Second Team accolades last season.
Charles Bertimon Maxence Bertimon, VCU – After an outstanding run in the 2022 NCAA Doubles National Championship last season, Charles Bertimon and Maxence Bertimon of VCU are back for their final year as a pair in 2022 for the Rams. Compiling a 23-10 doubles record on the season, the Bertimon brothers became the first doubles pairing in VCU history to advance to the NCAA Semifinals last season.
