The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (“ITA”) has released today the NCAA Division I Women’s Top 25 Coaches Poll sponsored by Tennis-Point for February 15, 2023.

For the first time this spring there is a new No. 1, as North Carolina earns all 12 first-place votes after winning their fourth-straight ITA Indoor Championship this past weekend in Seattle.

Across the remainder of this week’s Top Ten, several teams have made big jumps in the Rankings this week after strong showings at the 2023 ITA DI Women’s National Team Indoor Championship. Michigan rises from No. 12 to No. 5 this week, while Ohio State goes from No. 11 to No. 6, Iowa State from No. 14 to No. 6, and Auburn from No. 13 to No. 9.

National Team Indoor host, Washington, makes its first appearance in the ITA Top 25 Coaches Poll this week. The Huskies picked up an impressive 4-3 win over previously Top-Ten Ranked, Vanderbilt this past weekend.

The ITA Top 25 Coaches Poll is voted on by the ITA National Ranking Committee. The National Ranking Committee is made up of the 12 ITA Region Chairs, with each chair casting an individual, secret ballot.
