College Tennis Matches of the Week – April 10th, 2023

TEMPE, AZ – For what is the final week of regular-season play for many, the stakes continue to rise across all levels of play as crucial conference matchups take place across the country with big implications on the postseason.

We see several highly-important rivalries this week as many matchups will make the difference as to who finishes first or second within their conference to claim the regular season championship.

From the Division I level, two top-ten matchups take center stage this week as No. 2 TCU and No. 1 Texas square off on the men’s side of play, while No. 6 Duke and No. 1 North Carolina battle it out on the women’s side for first place in the ACC standings.

Across the remainder of the Division I level, Navy is set to head to West Point to face Army in a decisive men’s Patriot League matchup, while No. 55 USF takes on No. 36 UCF on the women’s side for an important American League contest.

From the small college level, there are four top twenty matchups across the NCAA Division II, Division III, and NAIA levels.

For the Men, No. 1 Saint Leo looks to stay unbeaten in SSC play when they head to Winter Park, FL to take on No. 10 Rollins. Meanwhile, there is a top-ten matchup at the Division III level as well when No. 2 WashU takes on No. UChicago this Saturday.

On the Women’s side, No. 2 Nova Southeastern has another tough conference test against No. 9 Tampa, while at the NAIA level, No. 6 Ave Maria (Fla.) is set to face No. 11 St. Thomas later this week.
