ITA All-America Teams

Each year the ITA recognizes All-America honors by the following selection criteria:

NCAA Division I

The criteria for ITA All-America honors include earning a top 16 seed into the NCAA Singles Championship, advancing to the round of 16 at the NCAA Championship, or finishing in the top 20 of the final ITA Singles Rankings. All-America recognition is awarded to doubles teams that earn a top-eight seed into the NCAA Championship, reach the NCAA Championship quarterfinals or finish in the top 10 in the final ITA National Doubles Rankings.

NCAA Division II

The criteria for ITA All-America honors include finishing the season in the top 20 of the ITA singles rankings and top 10 in the final ITA doubles rankings.

NCAA Division III

The selection criteria for Division III All-Americans is the following: top 8 seed in the NCAA singles tournament, win one round at the NCAA singles tournament, finish in the Top 20 in the final ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings, win ITA Fall Regional Tournament, or win a first-round match at the ITA National Small College Championships (ITA Cup). All-American honors are awarded to doubles teams that are a top 4 seed in NCAA doubles tournament, win one round at the NCAA doubles tournament, finish in the Top 10 in the final ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings, win the ITA Fall Regional Tournament, or win a first-round match at the ITA National Small College Championships.

NAIA

The criteria for All-American recognition are finishing in the top 20 of the final ITA national rankings for singles and top 10 of the final ITA national doubles rankings.

Junior College

The criteria for All-American recognition are finishing in the top 10 of the final ITA national rankings for singles and top five doubles teams for each association.
