ITA Tennis-Point National Summer Championships

Serving as the pinnacle of the summer season, the ITA Tennis-Point National Summer Championships by Universal Tennis features a 64-player field, including the top five point finishers in the Summer Circuit. They are all looking to secure a wildcard spot into the ITA Men’s and Women’s All-American Championships later in the year.

Florida State University will serve as the host site for the Championships, August 11-16, 2022. Matches will take place at the Scott Speicher Memorial Tennis Center located on the campus of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.

Selection Criteria

  • Men’s & Women’s Singles Main Draw (64) 
    • Deadline to register is Sunday, July 31st
    • Selections announced on Tuesday, August 2
    • 49 – Automatic selections based on UTR
    • 5 – Top 5 in final ITA Summer Circuit points race standings
    • 2 – FSU wild cards
    • 8 – Qualifiers
  • Men’s & Women’s Singles Qualifying Draw (32) 
    • Deadline to register is Sunday, July 31st
    • Selections announced on Tuesday, August 2
    • 31 – Automatic selections based on UTR
    • 1 – FSU wild card
  • Men’s & Women’s Doubles Main Draw (32)
    • Deadline to register is Sunday, July 31st
    • Selections announced on Tuesday, August 2
    • 31 – Automatic selections based on combined singles UTR
    • 1 – FSU wild card

Prize

  • Singles & Doubles Champions will receive a wildcard into the main draw of the ITA Men’s & Women’s All-American Championships. *
  • Men’s & Women’s Singles and Men’s Doubles Finalists will receive a wildcard into the qualifying round of the ITA Men’s & Women’s All-American Championships. *

* Only returning NCAA Division I players are eligible to receive the wildcards. Doubles teams must consist of two players from the same school.
