California Sports Surfaces is the surface provider to a variety of the world’s most recognized tennis events and facilities. A world-leading provider of products and expertise at all levels, California Sports Surfaces delivers solutions to a number of colleges and universities across the United States, including Michigan, Notre Dame, UNLV, North Carolina and countless others. CSS Surfaces were used at ITA events in Tulsa, Palmetto, SC, Texas A&M and at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona, FL.
CSS was the first company to manufacture a surface specifically for tennis and its brands, which include DecoTurf®, Plexipave®, Rebound Ace® and Premier Sports Coatings®, have been used at Grand Slam tournaments and major international tennis events for decades. In addition, California Sports Surfaces’ DecoTurf system will serve as the official tennis court surface for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, which have been moved to July 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic. This will be the 6th time that an Olympic or Paralympic Tennis tournament has been on a CSS surface!
As the first and only surface manufacturer to be awarded the status of International Tennis Federation (ITF) Recognition Elite Silver status under the ITF Recognition Program, CSS provides state of the art surface systems to regional and national venues where the standard of play demands the specification of precise playing characteristics.
