Wilson Sporting Goods

The Official Ball, Racquet & Accessory Brand of the ITA

An ITA Sponsor since 1973, Wilson is the longest standing partner of college tennis. As the Official Ball, Racquet & Accessory Brand of the ITA, Wilson outfits hundreds of teams nationally with high performance equipment and durable tennis balls.

Wilson balls are used exclusively at ITA and NCAA events, and ITA member programs benefit from discounts on balls, rackets, string, and accessories throughout the year, which can be accessed on the Coaches Resources Page. A long-time promoter of excellence in tennis, Wilson also partners with the ITA on two distinguished awards. Through the Wilson ITA Coach of the Year, the top male and female coach in every collegiate division - I, II, III, Junior College, and NAIA - are deservedly recognized in front of their peers and the tennis industry at the annual Wilson ITA Awards Luncheon during the ITA Coaches Convention.

Wilson also celebrates two outstanding student-athletes each year through the Wilson ITA Promoter of the Year Award, which is awarded to two players who advance the game of tennis by bringing positive awareness to their program and the sport as a whole. The recipients receive a paid summer internship at Wilson headquarters in Chicago. Coaches and student-athletes aren't the only ones benefitting from Wilson's support of college tennis, as ITA College Tennis Alumni Network members are also offered discounts on Wilson products.

A popular product among the alumni audience has been the Custom Racket Program, by which rackets can be customized in specific school colors. Their product innovation doesn't stop there. The new Wilson Clash has taken the college market by storm, offering a unique mix of power and control.

Wilson is a foundational pillar within college tennis, making the sport better by raising its profile, providing jobs, and developing high quality products that get the most out of our sport's top performers.
