ITA Announces D3 Women’s 2020-22 Championships Host

Centre College Named Host Institution for 2020-22 Division III Women’s National Team Indoor Championships

TEMPE, Ariz. (April 23) – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced on Tuesday that Centre College will serve as the host institution for the 2020-22 Division III Women’s National Team Indoor Championships. Top Seed Tennis Club in Nicholasville, Ky. will serve as the host site.

“The ITA is thrilled that Centre College and the Top Seed Tennis Club will be the home of the ITA DIII Women’s National Team Indoor Championship for the next three years,” Cory Brooks, senior director of championships, rankings, and membership, said. “The ability to play the entire event at one facility is a tremendous feature and one we think will enhance the overall student-athlete experience at this important ITA National Championship.”

Top Seed Tennis Club provides 21 hard courts, including 12 indoor, that are surfaced with the DecoTurf cushioning system. The indoor court area features state-of-the-art LED lighting, year-round climate control, an elevated viewing area and 4K cameras on each court, allowing for streaming.

“Centre College is thrilled to serve as host of the ITA Division III Women’s Indoor Championship and we are proud to partner with Top Seed Tennis Club as the host site,” head coach Currie Martin said. “This is an amazing event, and we are excited to compete with the best teams in the country. Being able to host means a lot for our program both in the present and as we continue to grow.”

Upcoming dates for the ITA National Team Indoor Championship are as follows: 2020 (Feb. 28 – Mar. 1); 2021 (Feb. 26-28); 2022 (March 4-6).
