2022 ITA Division I Men’s National Team Indoor Championship Moves Into Semifinal Round

The 2022 ITA Division I Men’s National Team Indoor Championship is a step closer to crowning its champion.

Following spirited quarterfinal play on Saturday at the Nordstrom Tennis Center and Seattle Tennis Club, Sunday’s semifinal matchups are set. Top-seeded and ranked Ohio State meets No. 5 TCU, while No. 2 Baylor and No. 3 Tennessee square off in the other matchup.

The Buckeyes scored a 4-0 win over Wake Forest on Saturday, and TCU dispatched of in-state foe and No. 13 seed Texas by the same score. Baylor and No. 7 Kentucky battled down to the final line, with the Bears managing to prevail in a tightly-contested 4-3 affair. Tennessee held off a steady challenge from No. 11 South Carolina to claim a 4-2 victory in the quarterfinals.

The University of Washington serves as event host, with action taking place at both the Nordstrom Tennis Center and Seattle Tennis Club.
