UW-Milwaukee Women’s Tennis – Volunteer Assistant Coach

UW-Milwaukee is seeking a volunteer women’s assistant coach for the 2023-2024 season. This is an opportunity for someone looking to break into collegiate tennis at the Division 1 level and gain applicable experience and skills to set up a career in college tennis.

Job Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities include:

  • On court coaching for team and individual practices, including hitting and feeding
  • Coaching on court during home and away tournaments/matches

If the individual so desires, they may also take on other responsibilities to gain further skill sets, including:

  • Administrative duties
  • Team travel arrangements
  • Video Analysis
  • Recruiting (as allowed within NCAA rules for volunteer coaches)

This is an unpaid position, however, the candidate will have an opportunity to teach lessons and help with clinics at the local club the team trains at, as well as earn a portion of all income from summer camps and tournaments.

The applicant will be subject to a background check.

A valid US Driver’s License is preferred.

College/high level playing experience is preferred.
