College Tennis Matches of the Week – March 27th, 2023

TEMPE, AZ – The ITA Matches of the Week for March 27th feature several marquee matchups across four levels of play as NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA programs are all featured this week.

Headlining the matchups at the Division I level are two Top 15 conference matchups from the ACC and SEC, while two other Non-Power Five matchups round out the four Matches of the Week from the Division I level.

In the SEC, No. 6 Kentucky is set to face No. 7 Georgia in Athens, while in the ACC, No. 13 Miami will head to Chapel Hill for a matchup against No. 1 North Carolina which is sure to excite. Meanwhile, on the men’s side, No. 47 SMU will take on No. 43 Tulane in a crucial AAC matchup, while on the women’s side No. 46 Princeton faces off with No. 74 Penn in an IVY League clash.

From the small college level, there are four top fifteen matchups across the NCAA Division II, Division III, and NAIA levels.

First, for the men, No. 6 Valdosta State is set to head to Cleveland, TN to face No. 14 Lee, while No. 7 William Carey takes on No. 9 Xavier (LA.). On the women’s side, No. 4 West Alabama is set to face No. 1 Barry in a Top Five Division II showdown, while No. 9 Emory takes on No. 8 Tufts in another Top Ten matchup.
