Duties and Responsibilities:
- Development of training program in conjunction with Head Coach
- Planning and implementing team practices
- Working individually with players on the court
- Coach players during tournaments and team matches
- Travel nationally and internationally to recruit
- Maintain recruiting database, communicate with recruits, and help in the planning of potential visits
- Assist in scheduling of tournaments/matches
- Stay up to date with all compliance, Atlantic 10 Conference, and NCAA rules
- Work with all athletic department support staff for the betterment and development of each team member and team as a whole
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- One to three years of tennis coaching and/or playing experience
- Ability to hit with D1 women’s level players
- College playing experience preferred
- Ability to string racquets preferred
